What is zorbing? We get asked a lot if what we do at the Outdoor Gravity Park is zorbing and the answer is a definitive “YES”. We call our giant balls an OGO and not a zorb. 

 Zorbing has been referred under many names:

  • giant hamster ball.

  • human hamster ball.

  • orbing.

  • zorb.

  • globeriding, globe-riding, or globe riding.

  • sphereing.

  • ball rolling.

  • water walking.

It’s the time of year again where we are all excited to visit the Smokies!! Everything from Cades Cove to Clingmans Dome is open and covered in beautiful greenery and springtime blossoms. Although there was a devastating fire that tore through parts of the Great Smoky Mountains, you can hardly discern what was burnt from the new blossoms springing up everywhere. We were (and continue to be) very fortunate that we live in such a beautiful area filled to the brim with people willing to help those that were affected by the fires, and to those that work in the National Park without whom we would be unable to enjoy the splendor that is the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

There are more than 40 attractions in the Smoky Mountain town of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee so it is easy to find something to do and that everyone will enjoy. Pigeon Forge has the common attractions like miniature golf and go karts to the uncommon like the New Zealand invention zorbing at the Outdoor Gravity Park. There is the upside-down attraction, WonderWorks, the Titanic Museum Attraction, indoor skydiving at Flyaway, two self-controlled mountain coasters, and the amusement park, Dollywood.

The Outdoor Gravity Park is located in the foothills of the picturesque Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
